Getting Lollipops in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Not to be confused with the regular candy pieces you can get from Nook’s Cranny in October, lollipops are a special kind of candy that you can only obtain on Oct. 31. These can be used in exchange for more Halloween-themed DIY recipes when Jack comes to visit your island on the 31st.

To get lollipops, you’ll simply need to give candy to your villagers on Halloween night. Every day in the month of October, you’ll be able to buy one piece of candy at Nook’s Cranny. It’s definitely recommended that you save some for the 31st, and when the celebration is underway, you can give them to your villagers gathered around the Resident Services building.

When you give them a piece of candy, there’s a chance that the villager could give you another DIY recipe in exchange, or give you a lollipop. You’ll just have to keep trying until you get all the lollipops you need. If you managed to get most of the DIYs before the celebration, your chances of getting a lollipop should be much higher.

In turn, lollipops are required if you want to get special rewards from Jack on the 31st. You only need a total of three lollipops to get all of his rewards in Animal Crossing New Horizons, as listed below:

  • Spooky Carriage
  • Spooky Carriage DIY Recipe
  • Spooky Wand
