The answer is yes, Genshin Impact is multiplayer, but not in the traditional sense. It is a cooperative experience that allows you to form a part of players to take on various quests and raids together.
However, playing cooperatively isn’t something you can do in Genshin Impact from the very start of the game. You must reach Adventure Rank 16 before the multiplayer option is unlocked.
