Before the full FIFA 21 game comes out, you’ll be able to start building your Ultimate Team and open your welcome back packs via the FUT 21 Web App. However, the features are quite limited. If you’re planning on spending some money to kick start your squad, here’s everything you need to know about whether you can buy points on the FIFA 21 web app.
The web app is available throughout the entire year and is essentially a duplication of the FUT 21 menus. You can access your squad, the transfer market, and objectives, but you’re not able to play matches.
Can You Buy FIFA Points on the FIFA 21 Web App?
In short, no, you cannot buy FIFA Points on the FIFA 21 web app. It’s one of the one features of FIFA 21 that’s missing from the free web version.
You’re able to spend them on there, but you cannot add them to your account. If you add them on the console/PC version of the full game, you’ll be able to spend them from the FUT 21 web app.
However, since the web app comes out before you’ll have access to the full game, you won’t be able to spend real money on the web app until you have jumped into the full thing via EA Play on Oct. 1 or the full game from Oct. 6.
You’re also not able to transfer FIFA Points from the full FIFA 20 game to the FUT 21 web app. That can also only be done in the full game.
Why is this the case? We’re not entirely sure, but it’s likely something to do with the legal side of selling microtransactions on a free website. If you want to spend money on Ultimate Team, you’ll simply have to wait until the full game is out.
That’s everything you need to know about whether you can buy points on the FIFA 21 web app. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite or check out our wiki guide.
