As you progress through Spiritfarer, you’ll need to track down rarer and rarer resources to craft the buildings and upgrades necessary to advance the story. One of these resources in particular can be a pain to find on your own, so we’re here to help with a guide on how to get Silica Powder in Spiritfarer.
How to Get Silica Powder in Spiritfarer
To make a long story short, you can get Silica Powder in Spiritfarer by tossing Quartz Shards into the Crusher.
However, it’s worth noting that the Crusher isn’t easy to get your hands on. You’ll only be able to craft the facility once you’ve upgraded your ship’s Blueprint Stand to the Expert level, which requires 10 Iron Ingots and 10 Wool Fabric. Likewise, you’ll then need to craft the Crusher on your ship. It’ll take 7 Pulsar Ingots, 15 Ash Planks and 5 Zinc Ingots, which can all be found in the areas past the Rock Barrier.
After you’ve met both these requirements though, making some Silica Powder is simple. Just enter the Crusher building and press the Square Button on PlayStation 4, X Button on Xbox One or the Y Button on the Nintendo Switch to activate the device. Then, select a Quartz Shard and mash it into oblivion by rapidly pressing the above button.
After a few moments, you’ll be granted a shiny pile of Silica Powder.
What Silica Powder Does
