Highlighting Enemy Positions in The Last of Us 2

Whenever you find yourself in a combat scenario in The Last of Us 2, you can temporarily highlight enemy positions by pressing and holding the R1 button to activate Listen mode. As long as the button is held down, the colors on the screen will fade and any enemies in your surrounding area will be highlighted with a white outline.

This can be incredibly helpful when you’re trying to sneak past enemies, or just taking them down stealthily. You can make sure you’re sneaking up on enemies, without another one spotting you.

It’s worth noting that you can upgrade Listen mode with Supplementary Pills in The Last of Us 2. Upgrading Listen mode allows you to see enemies from even further away in your surroundings. It also lets you move a bit faster while you’re using Listen mode, which is once again perfect for those of you who want to opt a stealthy approach to the combat gameplay.
