With how high priced fodder is now, putting high rated squads together it tough. The best thing to do for 85 and 86 rated squads is to build a squad from one of the major FIFA 20 leagues.
With so many players out of packs, special cards tend to be the cheapest options for high rated. For example, Headliners Telles is currently the cheapest 89 rated player.
So, with gold prices being so high and it being a good option to balance high rated players with low, rather than going for a squad of 85/86s, don’t shy away from using special cards.
Headliners, TOTW, Shapeshifters, and the like are often cheaper than their gold counterparts right now, so check prices before you put a team together.
For the Liverpool player you need, someone like Alisson or Fabinho will be good, try to use a high rated TOTSSF player in the Top Performer section, and there are loads of GK options for the Premier League player.
