How to Get 5 Stars in GTA V Fast & Easy
The easiest way to get yourself 5 stars in GTA V is to simply use the cheat code to raise your wanted level. Each time you enter it, your wanted level will increase by one star. Simply enter it five times and you’ll have a five-star wanted level.
We’ve listed it down below for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Keep in mind that by activating any cheats on your save file, you’ll disable the ability to unlock any trophies or achievements, in case that’s your kinda jam.
- PS3 & PS4: R1, R1, Circle, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right

Increasing Your Wanted Level Without Cheats

Alternatively, performing any of the following actions will also get you a 5-star wanted level:
- Keep killing civilians after the 3rd and 4th stars are given.
- Continuing to kill police and other law enforcement officers.
- Destroying a large number of cars, boats, bikes, helicopters, or other vehicles.
- Firing a missile in a Buzzard or P-996 Lazer within Los Santos International Airport.
