Ori and the Will of the Wisps: How to Get Gorlek Ore & What It’s Used For

Gorlek Ore is one of the many collectibles that can be found dotted around the world in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. While it’s not compulsory for you to go out there and get it at any point in the main story, it does open up a few more options in terms of side quests and convenience for getting around. Not to mention getting them all is required to 100% complete the game. Here’s how to get Gorlek Ore in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

You’ll receive your first Gorlek Ore from Mokk the Brave for completing his side quest requiring you to get a Howl Fang (it’s incredibly simple). After that, you’ll have to go and find them scattered throughout the world.

The easiest way to get every last bit of this ore in Ori and the Will of the Wisps is to make use of the maps that can be purchased from Lupo. They increase in price (Spirit Light) the further you advance in the game. Doing this will clear all of the fog of war previously on your map.

It’ll also reveal all locations of Gorlek Ore in that area. These are marked as pink ores on your map, as shown in the screenshot below.

What Gorlek Ore Is Used For

As we noted above, Gorlek Ore can be used to craft and repair different things. To do this, you’ll need to go to Grom in Wellspring Glades. You can see his location in the screenshot below, but he’s right next to the old busted Spirit Well, which it just so happens he can repair.

Speak to Grom and eventually, after a bit of chatting, he’ll let you browse through the various things he can repair. You’ll unlock more things to spend this rare ore on as you progress through the game.
