Dodge and Dash in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4

Dodging and dashing in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is a fairly simple matter.

While in combat, you can press the Circle Button on PlayStation 4, the B Button on Xbox One, or the A button on the Nintendo Switch to dash and dodge in almost any direction. Holding the button down will allow you to dash a greater distance, and you can dash through weaker enemies to deal damage to them.

However, there is a limit to how often you can use this mechanic. Every time it’s used, you’ll use up some of your stamina, which will need to recharge for a short while afterwards.

Longer and stronger dashes and dodges will take a bigger toll on your stamina too, so using them repeatedly can leave you in a precarious position if you’re not careful.

When to Dodge and Dash

As such, there are certain situations that are better than others to use your dodge and dash in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4.

If you’re surrounded by basic mob enemies, then you can use this mechanic at your leisure. Should some bosses or commanders be in the viscinity though, it’s best to be cautious about using your dodge and dash too much, as you might need it to reposition yourself outside of these enemies’ bigger attacks.
