Dreams is leaving Early Access this week, launching fully with a story mode, and there’s already hundreds of levels to play that other people have created. If your friends also have the game, you might want to play what they’ve made. So that you can find certain people and their levels, here’s everything you need to know about how to search for creators and find friends in Dreams.
By searching for a creator, you can check out all of the games and levels they’ve made in Dreams.
How to Search for Creators & Find Friends in Dreams
Once you’re in the Dream Surfing section of the game, which is about playing rather than creating, you need to select the search option at the top of the screen to find other players.
From here, select the Search box and type in the name of a creator you want to find. You can either use the name of creators you’ve found after playing levels and enjoying them, or you can ask your friends for their username and type that in.
Alternatively, if you’re already friends with the creator on PS4, you can select the Friends tab underneath the search bar, which will bring up a list for you to look through.
Then, once you’ve clicked on them to go to their profile, you can click on the Imp and + icon in the top right of the screen to follow them so that you see all their creations, or you can click on Creations in the bottom right to see all their levels.
