At the forefront of this event is Crimson Doubles, which is a combat scenario that clashes together two teams of two. Here’s the description from Bungie itself:
“Stay in close proximity to your partner and your abilities will recharge at a faster rate. Stray too far, and your enemies will be given a waypoint leading to your location. If you can’t find a partner, don’t worry, we’ll play matchmaker and find one for you. To sweeten the deal we will be turning on Valor bonuses during the weekend of the event. Valor bonuses will be available between February 15 and February 19, in Crimson Doubles and all other Crucible modes.“
As for the rewards, Shaxx will be handing out Confectionary Hearts for those that participating in the Crimson Doubles Matches and you can then turn those in to get some sweet rewards like The Vow, which is a new bow, or a Flaunting Dance Legendary emote.

The Valentine’s Day Rendevouz event that’s going on in Apex Legends right now is definitely not the best event out there but it brings back Duos mode, letting two players team up instead of playing in groups of three.
If you have a good friend or some crush that lives far away from you, you can team up, kick butt, and take names until the event comes to an end on Feb. 18.
