Developed by CremaGames and published by Humble Bundle, Temtem is a brand new Pokemon-inspired MMORPG that’s just been released on Discord and Steam Early Access. Because it’s an MMO, there’s a heavier emphasis on the online and multiplayer aspects of the game. Here’s how to play co-op multiplayer with friends in Temtem.
How to Play Co-op Multiplayer With Friends in Temtem
Before you start playing co-op multiplayer with people in Temtem, first you’ll need to make some friends. You can do this by adding people to your friends list.
Press the Tab or Esc button to bring up the main menu, then select the Interact button. This will give you a list of all the players currently in your vicinity.
You can then select a player to view their information, then press the + button to send them a friend request.
Alternatively, if you want to add someone you already know. You’ll need their Tamer tag, then key it into the search function to find them. Add them to your friends list as per normal, and you’ll be able to start playing with them.
Once you’ve got some people on your friends list, just view their Tamer info page again, then click on the co-op option to start playing together.
From this point on, you’ll be able to journey and battle together. During 2v2 battles, each of you will be able to send out one Temtem to take on the fight.
However, in wild encounters, only one person will be able to use a Temcard to catch whichever Temtem you find. If both of you choose to use a Temcard, it’ll be canceled out.
