Rather than just focusing on the over-the-top combat and battle scenes from the anime, Kakarot aims to allow fans to truly experience life within the world, alongside their favorite characters. At this moment in time, it’s stated that the game’s install size varies from platform to platform. We’ve listed all of them down below, sourcing where we’ve received the information from for each:
- PC: 36 GB Minimum
- PS4: 24 GB Minimum
- Xbox One: 38.47 GB Approximate (38.44 GB confirmed)
While we’ve not yet been able to verify these download and install sizes just yet, we will be as soon as we’ve got our hands on a copy of the game for each platform.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that these install sizes could always fluctuate as time goes by.
Once Dragon Ball Z Kakarot’s released, any post-launch updates could increase or decrease the install size. This tends to only be fairly minor fluctuations, however, so don’t worry too much.

As we noted above, while a lot of previous DBZ games have focused on allowing players to experience the over-the-top combat of the anime, Kakarot is bringing far more to the table.
