In Phoenix Point, resources are the key to mankind’s survival, as soldiers will need items to fight off the Pandorianvirus that ravages the world. Many wonder how exactly to get this look once they see it. Here is everything you need to know about how to loot crates in Phoenix Point.

Throughout the many live missions that take place in Phoenix Point, there will be crates with resources located in various points of each map.

For some missions, these crates need to be protected from the enemy, as collecting them is your primary objective. They can be identified by the symbols on them that look identical to the ones you’ll see at the top of the main map in the Geoscape (Food, Tech, and Material).

These types of crates aren’t the ones you’ll have to worry about looting.

How to Loot Crates in Phoenix Point

Instead, there are going to be plenty of boxes with resources that you can add to your character’s inventory and use immediately. These items include medkits, grenades, and plenty of other useful things you can use as soon as you get them.

When you find a crate in the game, position a soldier next to the crate and an action button will appear on their menu. Click on it and you’ll be able to add whatever is in the crate into their inventory by dragging the item in.

Keep in mind that whatever character is looting is going to need to have space in their inventory to grab the item. If they don’t simply drop something that is in their inventory already.

Also, keep an eye on their encumberment, as it will negatively affect them if they become encumbered.

  2. Press the action button that lets you interact with the crate.

  3. Drag the item from the crate inventory into the character’s inventory.
