2019 is about to end, and and you’ve hopefully already voted for our Readers’ Choice Game of the Year. Now it’s time to vote for your most anticipated game of 2020. We’ve shared ours already, and we want to hear from you now.

The past year has been great for gaming, but 2020 is looking like it might top it, being the swan song of the current generation. We’d like you to help us assign our “Twinfinite Readers’ Most Anticipated Game of 2020” award with all the weight of our audience’s hype behind it.

Since there is a ton of games coming, we’re doing things a little differently this year.

Instead of providing you with a range of candidates we like, we’re simply letting you enter the title of one game you’re hyped for. This lets us cover the widest range of tastes, platforms, genres, nationalities, and development cultures without being influenced by our own bias. Once the survey closes, your votes will be tallied, and the winner will be announced.

Please vote for games that have been officially announced (so please avoid things like Bloodborne 2 or Final Fantasy XVI) and are confirmed for a 2020 release, or at least we can reasonably expect in 2020. A firm release date isn’t required.

In order to make the vote polling process smoother, please use the spelling of the title of your game that you can find on Wikipedia. That way everyone will use the same standard. If the game doesn’t have a Wikipedia entry, go with your best guess. We’ll figure it out.

You have time until Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11:59 PM EST to vote, and the results will be announced shortly afterward.

In order to vote, you can simply use the poll below (or click here if you’re on mobile). In order to limit votes to one per person and avoid spam, you’ll need to log in with a Gmail account.

We’re aware that this isn’t ideal, but if you don’t have one, they’re quick and easy to make. This is the best way we have to keep things fair. You can also alter your vote until the deadline, in case you change your mind.

This is a chance to show us which games you are most hyped for, and we can’t wait to read what you think. So get voting (and feel free to campaign for your most anticipated game in the comments) and may the hype be with you!

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
