Destiny 2 is getting festive for the holidays, holding a holiday event filled with tons of quests. Called The Dawning, players will have to scavenge materials and use it to make some delectable dishes. The Javelin Mooncake, a favorite of Ana Bray, is one of the many delicacies you’ll bake. Here’s the recipe on how to make the Javelin Mooncake in Destiny 2’s Dawning event.
For this dish, players will need to collect ingredients spread throughout the worlds of Destiny 2. To be exact, you’ll need 1 Chitin Powder, 1 Sharp Flavor, and 15 Essence of Dawning.
- Chitin Powder – You can get this ingredient by defeating Hive enemies. It can vary depending on RNG.
- Sharp Flavor – To get this ingredient, you’ll have to kill enemies with a sword attack. Like with the Chitin Powder, it can vary depending on RNG.
- Essence of Dawning – Complete Eva’s daily bounties. These bounties are picked up just like any other and can be acquired by simply talking to Eva. Or, you can complete activities such as Heroic Public Events to grind some out after completing the bounties.
Baking the Recipe for Javelin Mooncake
Once you have gotten all of the necessary ingredients, open up Eva’s Holiday Oven in your pursuits inventory.
Place the Chitin Powder, Sharp Flavor, and Essence of Dawning into the three spots in the oven and it will produce the Javelin Mooncake. Pass it over to Ana Bray to progress the exotic Sparrow quest, Deliciously Cheerful Blueprint.
