Shenmue 3 is filled with little tasks and minigames that you can play, and as you might expect, that includes quite a bit of gambling. Ryo can earn tokens by betting on turtle races or playing games of luck, but in order to exchange them you’ll need to know where to go. Here’s where to exchange tokens (Prize Exchange) in Shenmue 3.
Where to Exhange Tokens (Prize Exchange) in Shenmue 3
You can purchase tokens from the little gambling area by Verdant Bridge, or a few other locations throughout Bailu Village. These tokens can then be used to bet on the various games, like turtle racing, Lucky Hit, dice, or any other number of things.
Turtle racing is always a good bet to spend tokens on as it lets you directly influence the race, relying less on luck than the other games.
Unfortunately, you’ll need to progress through the story a bit until you can actually exchange them.
Follow the main tasks for a couple of hours until you can go to the Panda Market. Now let’s go over how to get there.
Here’s how to get to the Prize Exchange in Shenmue 3.
- Starting from Shenhua’s house go to the Village Square.
- Go through the Village Square then veer right toward the path that runs alongside the belltower.
- Follow the path up the hill, go past the first house, then to the next two buildings. The building on your right is the Pawn Shop, and on the left is the Prize Exchange.
You can head to the Prize Exchange at any time in order to cash in your tokens for healing items, skill books, collectibles, and more.
