What Grimmsnarl’s Weakness Is in Pokemon Sword & Shield

Grimmsnarl is the final evolution form of Impidimp and Morgrem, and is a pretty cool looking Fairy and Dark type Pokemon, which makes it strong against Psychic, Dragon, Ghost, and Dark types. However, it does have a handful of key weaknesses that you can exploit if you ever come up against an opposing Grimmsnarl.

To combat Grimmsnarl, you’ll want to bring some Poison, Steel, or Fairy type Pokemon with you. Despite its Fairy typing, it’ll still take double damage from Fairy moves as it’s a primary Dark type Pokemon.

The same goes for Poison and Steel moves, which will also deal double damage to Grimmsnarl. All other types will deal regular damage to it, if you don’t have any Poison, Steel, or Fairy types on hand. With that in mind, it should be pretty easy for you to take down Grimmsnarl if you’re taking advantage of its weaknesses. It’s still a pretty formidable opponent overall, so exploiting its weaknesses is key.

It’s also a pretty good Pokemon to have in your own party, especially as you approach the final trainer fights in the game.
