As always, there are three starter Pokemon in Sword and Shield. These are the grass-type Grookey, fire-type Scorbunny, and water-type Sobble.

Grookey is an adorable-lookin’ chimp, but he won’t stay looking like this forever. At level 16, this grass-type starter evolves into Thwackey, who then evolves into Rillaboom at level 36.

Scorbunny

Scorbunny is the fire-type… bunny that’s always running about with an endless reserve of energy so it never has to stop. It uses its powerful legs to run and jump around its opponents. It also has a fire sac in its chest which contains viscous fire energy.

Scorbunny will evolve into Raboot at level 16, and then Cinderace at level 36 which will be its final form.

  • Raboot > Cinderace – Level 36

Sobble – Starter Pokemon Evolution Levels in Sword and Shield

Finally, we’ve got Sobble, the water-type Pokemon. It’s a lizard Pokemon that shoots out attacks as it hides in water. When Sobble touches water, its body changes patter and color, blending into its surroundings. It also has tears as potent as 100 onions, so just pray it doesn’t start crying while you’re around.

Sobble will evolve into Drizzle at level 16, and Inteleon at level 36. By the way, Inteleon, if we do say so ourselves, is the snootiest Pokemon we’ve ever seen. Just look at it.

  • Sobble > Drizzle – Level 16
  • Drizzle > Inteleon – Level 36

So to recap, all three of Pokemon Sword and Shield’s starter Pokemon evolution levels are level 16 for their middle stage, and level 36 for their final evolution.
