Jedi Fallen Order PS4 Pro & Xbox One X Enhancements

To answer the question, yes, Jedi Fallen Order does offer unique enhancements to those that own the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One X. Much like previous games that offer these enhancements for their games, Jedi Fallen Order is no different and offers two different options for you to choose from.

Players that own these superior consoles will have the option of choosing a “Performance” mode or a “Quality” mode. The performance mode is meant to give your framerate a boost, while quality mode enhances the visuals, but will limit your frame rate.

Performance mode will give players on the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One X a stable 60 frames per second at the cost of lowering the visual quality in the game. However, the drop off in visual quality is not a detriment to the game itself. It can be fully enjoyed in performance mode without downgrading the visuals too much. For those that prefer higher-framerates, performance mode is the way to go.

Quality mode is where the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X shine the most as the detail in the game is upped and textures appear more crisp. Although the upgraded visual quality you get is undetermined at this time, these visual upgrades come at a cost: framerate.

By selecting Quality mode, the game will be capped at 30 frames per second. Although 30 frames per second is more than playable, those that prefer a higher visual quality will have to forgo the smoothness offered by the 60 frames per second in Performance mode. For those that want to experience the best looking version of Jedi Fallen Order, the Quality mode is the choice for you.

Time needed: 2 minutes

In conclusion, here are the benefits offered by the PS4 Pro and Xbox One Enhancements for Jedi Fallen Order:

  1. Performance Mode – This mode gives players 60 Frames Per Second while downgrading visual quality ever so slightly.

  2. Quality Mode – This mode offers players a higher visual quality and upgraded graphics at the cost of framerate. In this mode, the game is capped at 30 Frames Per Second.

That’s all there is to know about the enhancements offered to owners of the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X for Jedi Fallen Order. Stay tuned to Twinfinite and check out our Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide Wiki for more information on the game when it hits store shelves on Nov. 15.
