Minecraft: How to Use Character Creator

Part of the new Minecraft update, players can now personalize their experience by building their own character. So that you can make your perfect avatar, here’s everything you need to know about how to use the character creator in Minecraft.

The character creator lets you mix and match a variety of body parts so that you don’t have to use the game’s usual default characters.

It’s not always easy to see the detail on a Minecraft character, but you can change things like facial hair, your character’s arms, and eye color.

Thankfully, it is pretty easy to make your own character. From the game’s main menu, select the Profile option in the bottom right of the screen.

Doing so will take you to a screen where you’ll be able to see all of your profiles. You can then select Edit Character to change how they look once you’ve chosen the profile you want.

Then, you’ll be taken to the Character Creator screen, where you’ll see all the different options on the right hand side.

Selecting a category will take you to a list of options, with images to match them. You’re also able to change things like your character’s height and arm length.

Just do note though, that some customization options in the character creator will be locked and you’ll need to purchase them to use them.

Time needed: 1 minute.
