Code Vein has finally been released and the game can be overwhelming at first. Don’t worry because we are here to help make it easier. Here’s how to heal in Code Vein.
How to Heal in Code Vein
Fans of games similar to Dark Souls will be familiar with the healing mechanic found in Code Vein. You have three charges of regeneration which is simlar to the Estus flask from the Souls series.
Regeneration is an item that can be equipped to your items shortcuts, which are accessed by pressing left and right on the d-pad. Once it’s equipped all you have to do is hit down on the d-pad to use regeneration.
Beware though because you only have three charges to start with and the only way to refill them is by resting at Mistles throughout the world. You’ll eventually be able to obtain more charges as you progress.
Another way to heal is by using an item called Regen Inducer. It’s important to note that this item is a consumable so be sure to only use them when you really need it.
The final way to heal in Code Vein is by having your partner sacrificing some of their health to refill part of yours. This will only work if your partner has enough health, otherwise they will not be able to.
Be sure to always notice where your partner’s health is at so you don’t find yourself in that situation.
There is plenty to explore in Code Vein and the more you explore you’ll find plenty of healing items and charges fopr your regeneration. So be sure to look in every nook and cranny.
