Remnant From the Ashes is finally upon us, and the brutally hard co-op Souls-like has a few convoluted quests. An example of this involves the Strange Coin. Here’s how to get the Strange Coin and what it’s used for.
As with most things in Remnant, there is an element of luck involved. As a large majority of the game world is randomly generated, there is a good chance you may not find the Strange Coin in the same place that I did.
As always, you can re-roll your world state until you get the right one. There isn’t infinite variation, and as you keep all your experience and items, it can be a great way to gain a few levels.
How to Find the Strange Coin in Remnant From the Ashes
In order to get the Strange Coin, you need to complete the games first dungeon. After defeating the boss, search the area in which the encounter takes place.
If you are in the correct world state, the Strange Coin will be lying beside a corpse. It isn’t hidden, and you shouldn’t have any issues finding it.
If not, save your game and back out to the main menu. From there, re-roll the world state and try again. It doesn’t take too long to blow threw the first dungeon, especially as you increase in power.
What to Do With Strange Coin in Remnant From the Ashes
If you get lucky and do find it, great job! Return to Ward 13, and speak to Ace the junk merchant.
The Coin belongs to her, and as a reward she will give you a Magnum, which is a powerful firearm that will give you an edge in the early game.
So in summary, here’s how to find the strange coin in Remnant From the Ashes:
