is the latest and greatest game from Remedy Entertainment, the developers behind the popular Alan Wake series, and most recently the Xbox One exclusive, Quantum Break. Control appears to be building on what Quantum Break did well, but meshing it with more thriller/horror elements. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how long it takes to beat Control on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Let’s talk about it.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Control?

Control is an action-adventure thriller that unleashes players into a the headquarters of the fictional Federal Bureau of Control in the midst of a breakdown of security, and well erm, Control. The FBC is responsible for the research and housing of things related to the supernatural that should not be seen by the public. And well, as you can imagine, things don’t go well because it wouldn’t be a very interesting game otherwise. Originally there to locate her missing brother, hero Jesse Faden stumbles into the FBC building during an extremely deteriorating situation where dangerous supernatural beings are running amok. It’s up to Faden to figure out what’s going on, take the reins on the situation, and figure out a way to locate her brother in the midst of this terrifying development. While there are some open-ended exploration elements, Control follows a narrative that, according to the developers, will wrap up in around 10-15 hours depending on how quickly you speed through things. If you know where you’re supposed to go either via guides, or having played already, you can finish quicker than that. If you take you time fully explore, and find all of the optional tidbits, you can extend your play time to hit around 20 hours. That’s all about all you need to know about how long Control takes to beat on PS4, Xbox One and PC. For more on Control, be sure to search Twinfinite, or check out our guide wiki.
