Here’s How to Perform Sync Attacks in Astral Chain
As you’re fighting and doing combos, occasionally you’ll see a blue flash appear around your characters. If you hit ZL at that exact moment, you’ll launch into a Sync Attack.

These are tied to your combos. For example, every Legion will be able to perform one after you finish your basic combos with the gun weapon.
Your Legions can also learn more of these moves by leveling them up in your Legion Learning tab in the main menu of the game. Any nodes that have a turquoise plus emblem will teach them a new sync attack.
Here’s a step by step breakdown of how to perform this move.
- During combat, be on the lookout for a blue flash on screen.
As you’re performing combos with your Legion, you’ll occasionally see blue flashes on screen. Be on the lookout for these.
- When you see a blue flash on screen, press ZL.
When you see the blue flash on screen, press ZL and you and your Legion will perform one of these moves together.
