There are a ton of different outfits and clothing items you can unlock for your Mii Maker when playing through Mario Maker 2’s various modes. Your Mii Maker is essentially your little avatar for when you’re not actually playing through courses in Mario Maker 2. As such, here’s how to unlock all Mii outfits and how to change clothes.

  • ? Block Hoodie – Earn one bronze medal in the Endless Challenge mode.
  • 1-Up Hoodie – Default clothing.
  • Angry Sun Shirt – Get a high score of 10 courses in Endless Challenge mode on Normal.
  • Artsy Corduroys – You need to receive a bunch of feedback on a single level you create and upload.
  • Banzai Bill Shirt – Post your first comment on a level.
  • Big Spender Shorts – Clear 100 courses.
  • Black Short-Shorts – Default clothing.
  • Blockstripe Shirt – Receive a comment on a course you created.

On top of the individual clothing items listed above, you’ll also be able to unlock Mii Outfits that’ll give your avatar a complete makeover from head to toe so they’re looking as close to the real-deal of these character as is possible for a Mii.

How to Change Mii Outfits in Mario Maker 2

To make use of all these clothes and outfits you’ve just unlocked, you need to head into the Course World mode. The first time you do this, you’ll make your own Mii Maker as we mentioned above. Upon loading up Course World, select your Mii and you’ll then be given the option to change outfit.

You’ll then see different icons at the top of the screen representing a hat, shirt, pants, dress, and outfits. Select whichever category your desired clothing item would fall into and then select the clothing option you want. That’s all there is to it.
