Is Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Coming to Nintendo Switch? Everything You Need to Know

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is all the talk of the side-scroller, RPG town right about now. Bringing more of its RPG grind with a dose of demon-slaying, and a slice of stylish visuals to top it off, the sequel is a real treat for fans of the series. It’s currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, but if you were hoping to take it on-the-go, you might be wondering about the Nintendo Switch.

Is Ritual of the Night Coming to the Switch?

The good news is that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Originally, when the Kickstarter campaign started, Ritual of the Night was supposed to be coming to the Wii U, alongside the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and even the Vita. Alas, the Vita version was canceled, and the Wii U’s version was replaced with a Switch SKU instead.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Nintendo Switch Release Date

Unfortunately, it’s not all good news. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but those looking to get a copy of the game on Nintendo Switch will have to wait a little bit longer.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s Switch release date is June 25, with no reason being given for the slightly delayed release of the title on Nintendo’s hybrid. The good news is that you won’t have to pay any more for it when it releases on the Switch, with the game costing the same $39.99 across all platforms.

Will the Switch Version Get All Post-Launch DLC?

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is set to get a host of additional post-launch DLC that will add a number of new features to the game. These range from both local and online co-op multiplayer options, a Boss Rush mode, and two additional playable characters. You can find out more about what’s to come post-launch for the title here.

The good news is that the Nintendo Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will receive the same post-launch DLC support as all the other platforms. As such, you won’t miss out on anything by picking up the game on the Switch. You’ll just have to wait a little bit longer!
