Aside from just taking out enemies with your boring ol’ guns, you can also make use of your Ranger suit abilities to destroy your foes in interesting ways as well.

Throughout the course of the game, you’ll gain access to various superpowers that will give you an advantage in battle.

In order to unlock them, you’ll first need to visit the various Arks in the open world, then use the Focus ability to open them. Once you complete the relevant tutorials, you’ll be able to use the superpower whenever you want.

To upgrade your superpowers, bring up the character menu and go to the Nanotrites tab. From here, you’ll see a full list of all the powers you’ve unlocked so far. In the bottom right corner of the screen, you’ll also see that you need Feltrite to upgrade them. If you have enough Feltrite, simply hold the square button (or X if you’re on Xbox One) to complete the upgrade.

Getting Feltrite

Feltrite is one of the most valuable resources in Rage 2, simply because it’s used for a variety of things.

By and large, you can get Feltrite by simply killing enemies, and walking over the glowing blue shards that they drop to collect them. When at an enemy outpost, you can also open storage chests or Ark chests for a chance to get some Feltrite.

Lastly, if you see Feltrite engines on the ground, you can destroy them to get a little as well.

That’s all you need to know about how to upgrade your superpowers in Rage 2. Be sure to check our Rage 2 guide wiki or search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
