How to Get the SMART Rocket Launcher in Rage 2
The first thing to know about the SMART rocket launcher is that you definitely want the SMART rocket launcher! It’s totally badass and it’s super useful for taking out heavily armored enemies.
Like most weapons in the game, you’ll find it after unlocking a specific Ark pod. Namely, the Strongbox Ark, which can be found on the Torn Plains just north of the Chazcar derby. You should see a question mark if you haven’t discovered the location already, so just head towards that.
You don’t have to be any particular level to go and get the weapon, so we’d recommend doing so fairly soon after starting your adventure across the wasteland.
The SMART rocket launcher has two firing modes, both a standard single shot and the ability to track multiple targets when using the left trigger to aim.
As we mentioned earlier, it’s very good at taking out heavy enemies, but it’s also great for big groups since it fires several smaller missiles in its secondary mode.
But the weapon really comes into its own when you’re in RAGE mode, as it shoots the several smaller missiles without using the left trigger and does way more damage.
