How to Focus

Focus is exactly what it sounds like in Rage 2, letting you hone in on specific items or areas with the simple press of a button. To Focus all you need to do is press L1/LB, and then hold it down.

The main use of the feature is something like “Detective Vision,” highlighting nearby enemies as well as any points of interest. Because of that, it’s something that you’ll be using constantly throughout your adventure in the world of Rage 2.

Various Uses for Focus

Outside of just highlighting things, Focus is actually used for quite a few different things in Rage 2. You can hold down the Focus button in front of your vehicle to repair it, you can use it to open Arks and chests, and to pick up the Feltrite that enemies drop when you kill them.

There are more uses for Focus, of course, but these are just a few examples. Use the feature frequently as it can help streamline things, and give you a nice little advantage by seeing the placement of enemies and objects.

That’s everything you need to know about how to Focus in Rage 2. For plenty more tips, tricks, and guides make sure to search Twinfinite, or check out our expansive Rage 2 guide wiki.
