What the Week 10 Challenges Are

As we always do around here, we’ve included a screenshot down below straight from the game so you know that the week 10 challenges we’re talking about are the real deal and not some incorrect leaked list.

Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 Challenges

Taking a look at the week 10 challenges above, a lot of them aren’t all that difficult to figure out. However, some, such as searching the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction, or launching through flaming hoops with a cannon may trip you up a little bit. Regardless, we’ll run you through each and every one of the week 10 challenges down below.

How to Complete Week 10 Challenges Fast & Easy

  • Launch through flaming hoops with a Cannon (3)
  • Stage 1: Harvest Wood in a single match (500)
    • Stage 2: Harvest Stone in a single match (400)
    • Stage 3: Harvest Metal in a single match (300)
  • Eliminate opponents at Tilted Towers or The Block (3)
  • Deal damage with an Infantry Rifle or Heavy Assault Rifle (500)
  • Stage 1: Search the treasure map signpost found in Junk Junction
    • Stage 2: Follow the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction
  • Deal damage within 10s of landing after using a Volcano Vent (100)
  • Eliminate an opponent from closer than 5m away (2)

The first of the week 10 challenges requires players to launch themselves through flaming hoops with a cannon. The cannons can be found dotted all around the map, but the flaming hoops can be found in three particular locations. We’ve broken these down in our guide for this challenge here.

Next up we’ve got a staged challenge. For this one, you’ll need to harvest 500 wood in a single match for stage one, 400 stone in a single match for stage two, and 300 metal in a single match for stage three. This is a pretty straightforward challenge, but we’d suggest trying to avoid any named locations or busy landing spots. Go somewhere quieter around the map to give yourself the best odds.

Next, you’ll need to eliminate opponents at Tilted Towers or The Block. For this one, we suggest going to Tilted Towers. It’s almost consistently the busiest named location on Fortnite’s map, and so landing here will give you plenty of potential targets to eliminate. We suggest trying to land on a weapon, getting some shield as fast as possible, and picking off any players running around in the open.

The fourth week 10 challenge requires players to deal 500 damage with an Infantry Rifle or Heavy Assault Rifle. You are somewhat at the mercy of the RNG Gods for this one, as you’ll need to hope you find these weapons in chests, from eliminated players, or as floor loot etc. in a game. Once you do, just focus on picking players off.

We recommend using the Team Rumble LTM as you can respawn and easily rack up 500 damage in a single match.

You’ll now need to search the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction and then follow this map to the treasure located somewhere on Fortnite’s map. Fortunately, we’ve got a guide breaking down both stages and locations for this treasure map challenge here to save you some time.

In order to ‘Deal damage within 10 seconds of landing after using a Volcano Vent’ we advise heading to the north section of the map, where the various hot springs were for the week 9 challenge. There are a ton of volcano vents in this area, and chances are players will be heading there to complete this challenge.

Use this to your advantage, grab a weapon off the floor or from a nearby chest, hop into a volcano vent, land quickly, and then begin dealing damage as soon as you spot an opponent. One elimination should hopefully be all it takes to complete this week 10 challenge.

Finally, you’ll need to eliminate opponents from closer than 5m away. We advise landing at a named location and looking for a shotgun immediately. These deal high-damage at close range and a headshot is more often than not enough to eliminate a player in a single shot.

That’s all you need to know to complete all Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 challenges easily. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fortnite Season 8 guide wiki.
