How to Get Repeaters in Dauntless

The Ostian Repeaters are a special ranged weapon available in the game, and are effective in both close and long ranged combat. They can be unlocked pretty early on in the game as well, so you won’t have to wait too long.

Go Forth and Slay

Specifically, the Repeaters are unlocked by completing the quest titled “Go Forth and Slay,” which is given to you by Katerin Sorrel in Ramsgate.

To unlock this quest, you simply need to follow the quest chain naturally, and complete all quests in Ramsgate until you unlock this one.

The quest simply requires you to complete three hunts, and once you’ve done so, you’ll be able to speak with Janek Zai to unlock another quest called “Ironclad Admiral.” Simply speak to the NPC again to unlock the Repeaters. That’s all there is to it.

Known Issues

There is one crucial thing to take note of, though. There is a bug related to the Ostian Repeaters, and it’s possible to progress too far into the game and lock yourself out of the chance to actually get the weapon in Dauntless.

Over on the game’s official subreddit, it should be noted that if you’ve reached the Maelstrom without unlocking the Repeaters, you won’t be able to get them anymore.

According to the dev team, this is a known bug and you can contact the support team to get the weapon on your account if this happens to you.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Ostian Repeaters in Dauntless. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Dauntless guide wiki, or check out some of our most popular guides down below.
