Dauntless has arrived onto the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In this Monster Hunter-like game, you’ll be able to team up with a group of players to tackle the game’s difficult Behemoth enemies. If you’re here you’re likely wondering how to play with friends in Dauntless. We’ll break down how to do just that for PS4 and Xbox One.
Playing With Friends in Dauntless
Dauntless can be played as a group either organized or with random players AKA pick up groups (PUGs). For the game’s easier Behemoth encounters, you should be able to take them down just fine with a pick up group provided your team is at least remotely competant.
However, the tougher Behemoths require additional coordination and you might want to link up with some friends to take them down. Or maybe you just want to play with friends in Dauntless, you know, just for fun. Regardless, this is how you do it.
Spawn into Ramsgate from the main menu. Once there, near the top left part of the screen you can see your Hunting Party and how many Online Friends you have.
To access this menu required for adding Slayers to your Hunting Party screen press Touch Pad on PS4 or View if you’re on Xbox One.
Here is where you can see any party invites you have received, and play with any friends from PS4, Xbox, or Epic that are online and anyone that is offline if you want to try inviting them anyway. You can also view your Guild information from this screen as well.
Either invite them directly from that list there, or press R1 or RB on Xbox One to tab over to Add Friends, and you’ll see people that are eligible to be invited to your Hunting Party.
Just make sure that you (obviously) are friends with the person that you’re trying to add otherwise they won’t show up.
