How to Heal Your Health in Days Gone
Days Gone‘s world is dangerous. The wilderness is full of rabid freakers and bandits lurk around every corner, and so you’ll need to keep your health levels up at all times. Here’s everything you need to know about how to heal your health in Days Gone.
Different Ways to Heal Your Health
Medkits are the primary way of healing yourself in Days Gone, but you’ll also be able to craft bandages. You’ll find medkits out in the world as you explore camps and take out bad guys, but you might find supply a little limited, particularly in the more combat focused sections.
To use Medkits that you find, hold left on the d-pad, which uses your active healing item. They can only be found by looting out in the open or you can buy them from vendors. They heal more of your health than bandages, but they cannot be crafted on the fly, making your supply of them more limited.
How to Craft & Use Bandages Using the Survival Wheel
Alternatively, you can craft bandages by holding L1 to open up the Days Gone survival wheel, using the right thumbstick to highlight the healing items, and press R1 to craft them. You can craft multiple at a time so that you can heal quickly and do not need to enter the menu every time you need to get a bandage to heal a little.
You don’t have to back out of the survival wheel to use one of the crafted healing items either. While there, for whatever reason, you can press R2 with the healing items highlighted to use one.
That’s everything you need to know about how to heal your health in Days Gone. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
