Is Devil May Cry 5 Xbox One X Enhanced?

DMC 5 is arguably one of the best-looking games in the series to-date, especially since it’s slated to launch on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here’s what you need to know about whether Devil May Cry 5 is Xbox One X enhanced or not.

Playing on the Xbox One X is a great way to further immerse yourself in a game’s world. The updated console now supports tons of different games, providing upscaled resolutions and better colors.

Devil May Cry 5 actually supports the enhanced console and comes with these following features:

  • 4K Ultra HD
  • HDR

It’s worth noting, however, that support for the Xbox One X is still in development. Neither Capcom nor Microsoft have revealed when they’ll roll out these changes, but we’ll be sure to update this post as soon as they do. If anything, we probably might see them apply these changes once the game officially launches.

Owning the enhanced console isn’t enough, as you’ll need a 4K TV to take advantage of its different perks. Those without the proper equipment should probably stick to playing the game on the vanilla consoles.

That said, those who are playing on the Xbox One won’t be missing out on anything else apart from these technical adjustments. Devil May Cry 5 has the exact same content, regardless of which console you play it on. The only exception would be if you purchased the Deluxe Edition, which comes with a few extras.

That about wraps up everything you need to know about whether Devil May Cry 5 is Xbox One X enhanced or not. If you’re looking for more details on the latest DMC game, be sure to check out our expansive guide wiki. We’ve got tons of other guides to help you learn more about the game.
