How to Redeem Preorder & Deluxe Edition Bonus DLC in Far Cry New Dawn
Whether you’ve preordered just a standard copy of Far Cry New Dawn, or you’ve gone for the Deluxe Edition, you’ll have at least one bit of bonus DLC to redeem and use in-game. Here’s how to redeem preorder and Deluxe Edition bonus DLC in Far Cry New Dawn on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
What the Preorder & Deluxe Edition DLC Is
If you preordered a copy of Far Cry New Dawn digitally or physically, you’ll be able to get yourself the delightfully cute Unicorn Trike, complete with mounted turret!
For those who splashed out a bit more for the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get yourself a whole host of sweet in-game items. This edition comes with the Knight Pack, Hurk Legacy Pack, and two additional in-game items. You can check them all out in the image below.
How to Redeem Your Far Cry New Dawn Preorder and Deluxe Edition DLC on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
If you preordered the game digitally on any platform, you should notice that when downloading Far Cry New Dawn, there are additional files that downloaded with it called the Deluxe Pack and Unicorn Trike. As long as these are successfully installed, you’ll then have access to the DLC in-game.
For those who preordered Far Cry New Dawn as a physical copy, you’ll need to find the code often printed on till receipt by a brick-and-mortar retailer, or sent via an email by online retailers. Enter this code on your platform of choice as you usually would. We’ve broken down the steps on how to do this on each platform down below.
- PS4: Head to the PlayStation Store and look for ‘Redeem Codes’ on the left sidebar menu. Enter the preorder and/ or Deluxe Edition code for Far Cry New Dawn as displayed in the email or on the till receipt. Confirm this is the content you want to download.
- Xbox One: Use RB to tab over to the Store page from your Home screen and use the ‘Use a Code’ option to enter your preorder or Deluxe Edition bonus DLC code. Confirm your Far Cry New Dawn DLC and let it download.
- PC: Your preorder and Deluxe Edition DLC should download alongside the game.
How to Get Your Preorder and Deluxe Edition DLC Items in Far Cry New Dawn
Now that the DLC is all redeemed and downloaded, it’s time to get your hands on it.
To get the preorder DLC Unicorn Trike, or Deluxe Edition Sidecar Motorbike or Legacy Offroader, you’ll need to head to any Garage outside of Prosperity. Then, select the Vehicles menu and scroll down. You’ll see they’re all available and unlocked from the very beginning, and what’s more, you don’t need the crafting materials for them.
To get the Deluxe Edition DLC weapons in Far Cry New Dawn, you’ll need to head to a Weapons Workbench. From here, select the Weapons option and again scroll down through the tiers. All of the Deluxe Edition DLC weapons are Tier II (Blue), and don’t require crafting materials in order to equip them.
Simply press X/ A while they’re selected and use the analog stick to assign it to a weapon slot.
