How to Get All Medals and What They Do in Anthem

Anthem is the brand new online multiplayer RPG developed by BioWare and published by EA. The game also features a Medals system that isn’t exactly properly explained to players. In this article, we’ll try to explain the system, along with how to get all Medals and what they do in Anthem.

At the end of each mission or expedition, you’ll be treated to a results screen where you get to see the Medal you earned from your performance. This determines the kind of play style you exhibited during the previous mission.

There are a total of four Medals in Anthem, and they are listed below:

  • Soldier
  • Executioner
  • Artillery
  • Sage

How to Get All Medals in Anthem

Which Medal you get in Anthem is completely dependent on how you performed during the mission. Here’s a general guideline of how to get all Medals in Anthem:

  • Soldier: Kill Elite enemies and strike weak points.
  • Executioner: Kill Legendary enemies and use your ultimate ability.
  • Artillery: Use different weapons to kill enemies, along with your Javelin-specific abilities and good usage of combos.
  • Sage: Focus on supporting your allies by reviving them when needed, loot chests, and interact with resource nodes.

Out of all the four different Medals available in Anthem, the Artillery one is probably going to be the trickiest to get. The main thing you want to keep track of is your combo usage, which requires you to have good knowledge of Anthem’s Primers and Detonations system.

Achieving Different Feats

To go along with your Medals in Anthem, the results screen will also show you the different feats you’ve achieved during the mission. The feats also play a part in determining which Medal you get, and are listed below:

  • Ally Javelins Repaired
  • Collection
  • Combos
  • Elite Slayer
  • Gear Master
  • Legendary Slayer
  • Materials Harvested
  • Melee Master
  • Mission Complete
  • Multi-Kills
  • Reinforcement
  • Stronghold Complete
  • Ultimate Master
  • Weak Point Striker
  • Weapon Master
  • World Events

Each feat has three tiers as well: bronze, silver, and gold. Getting gold tier feats related to the Sage Medal, for instance, will increase your chances of actually getting that Medal.

In general, the better your feats are, the more bonus experience you’ll get at the end of the mission. So if you’re aiming to get the Executioner Medal, focus on getting kills with your ultimate ability and target Legendary enemies as much as possible. Get gold tiers for those feats, and you’ll get your Executioner Medal, along with more experience.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Medals in Anthem and what they do. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Anthem guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
