Inventory space is always one of the main things you should focus on unlocking early on, regardless of what game you’re actually playing. The same pretty much rings true in My Time at Portia, since you basically start off with two extra rows of backpack space.
Upgrading inventory does cost money, so make sure you save up enough Gol first. To expand your space, here are the steps you need to take:
- Press “I” to open up your inventory.
- Select a row that hasn’t been unlocked yet.
- Choose the “Unlock” option next to sort to buy it.
You can check the price of each locked row on the box to your left. The first locked row sells at 300 Gols, with each successive row raising in price.
There are a total of 13 rows you can buy in My Time at Portia. Since you can expand your inventory at any time, it saves you the hassle of having to run to the store each time you run low on space.
You should definitely focus on expanding the first three rows, which should cost you a little less than 2,000 Gol in total. Having all that space is worth it if you tend to farm or forage materials, which you’ll be doing plenty of early on.
