SoulCalibur VI has finally arrived over six years after the release of the last entry in the series. With the inclusion of The Witcher’s Geralt as a guest character, and the reversal edge mechanic as an additional part of your offensive arsenal, there are ample reasons to dive into the fighting action once again. As is the case with most games nowadays, SoulCalibur VI has a plethora of different editions, depending on how much you want to spend. The more you pay, the more additional content or physical goodies you’ll get with your copy of the game. To help you figure out which is best for you, we’ve provided a rundown of all SoulCalibur VI editions below, including how much they cost.
Standard Edition – $59.99
Your bog standard copy of the game. You’re not going to get anything cool or additional on top of this. If you’re looking for just the game and nothing more, the standard edition is the one for you. It’s worth noting that this is the only edition of the game that is available on PC.
Deluxe Edition – $99.99
For the committed SoulCalibur fans out there, the SoulCalibur VI Deluxe Edition is a solid choice. Coming in at $99.99, players will get the following items.
- Copy of the game.
- Steelbook case with a built-in soundbox (includes four in-game voiceover snippets).
- A copy of the soundtrack on disc.
- The Season Pass.
For those unaware, the Season Pass comes with three additional playable characters and two armor packs to be released at a later date. Additionally, for picking up the Season Pass, players gain access to Tira, a fighter you can use right away.
Collector’s Edition – $129.99
Rounding out the SoulCalibur VI editions on offer is the Collector’s Edition. This is the definitive edition of the game that comes complete with all of the neat extras that fans are sure to love. For $129.99, players will get the following:
- Copy of the game.
- Steelbook case with a built-in soundbox (includes four in-game voiceover snippets).
- A copy of the soundtrack on disc.
- The Season Pass.
- 12″ collectible Sophita figure.
Essentially, you’re getting everything that comes in the deluxe edition, with the added bonus of the collectible statue to boot. It’s worth noting, however, that this edition could be very hard to come by. You can pre-order it now from Amazon on both PS4 and Xbox One.
