Shooting Your Web in Spider-Man PS4
Developed by Insomniac Games, Spider-Man is an exclusive title releasing for the PS4 this month. With the titular superhero experiencing a resurgence in popularity with the recent Marvel movies, fans will naturally be excited to dive into the game and learn more about this universe. Spider-Man PS4 is set in an open world environment, where you’ll get to explore Manhattan and fight some bad guys along the way. And of course, you’ll also get to fire some webs from your wrist to trip up your opponents, and swing about town. Here’s what you need to know.
All you need to do in Spider-Man PS4 is tap the R1 button repeatedly to fire a web. The important thing to note here is that the web shooter is actually a gadget, so you won’t actually be able to fire a web if you’ve got another gadget equipped.
This means that you need to actively equip the web shooter in order to pull it off. To do this, hold down the L1 button to bring up the gadget wheel in the game, then select the web shooter to start firing webs.
When you’re done with it, feel free to equip another gadget that might be more useful for whatever situation you’re in.
It’s also worth noting that the web shooter itself has a lot of upgrades to it, so you should definitely experiment with its new abilities whenever you unlock them.
Keep in mind, though, that if you do want to upgrade the various gadgets that Spidey has access to in the game, you’ll need an assortment of different tokens that can be earned in Spider-Man PS4 by completing side activities.
