Spider-Man PS4: How to Dodge Attacks

How to Dodge Attacks in Spider-Man PS4

Here’s how to dodge attacks in Spider-Man PS4.

In Spider-Man PS4, you’re bound to encounter hundreds, if not thousands, of goons to take down as the friendly neighborhood web-slinger. That means you’re also bound to take hundreds and hundreds of hits from them as well. While Peter Parker can shake off a few of them, after so much he’ll be lights-out, leaving you to restart the encounter.

Because of this, it’s critical that you learn the art of dodging in this PS4-exclusive title. While the game will teach you how to dodge attacks, it can be easy to forget something learned in the beginning, especially after finding yourself hours deep into the story. Fear not, though. We’ve got you covered.

The short answer here is a quick button press —and that button you need to press is Circle. If only it were that easy though. Sure, you can spam Circle over and over and you’re sure to dodge most attacks meant for Spider-Man, but you still have to actually take the enemies down.

Because of that, you need to know exactly when to press Circle so that you can not only build up combos in a brawl, but take down enemies while remaining scratch-free as well.

As we all know, Spider-Man has a keen sense of awareness properly known as Spidey Sense. When you see the Spider Sense indicator on the screen above Spider-Man’s head, press Circle. This will cause our hero to dodge out of the way.

Now, this ability can be improved upon with a simple skill upgrade known as “Perfect Dodge.” With this skill unlocked, if you press Circle to dodge while the Spidey Sense indicator is blue, not only will Spider-Man dodge, but he’ll shoot a web at the attacker’s face, leaving them open for a counter attack.
