Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Get the Lord of Wolves Shotgun

Getting the Lord of Wolves Shotgun in Destiny 2: Forsaken

Recommended Videos

One huge part of any Destiny expansion is the addition or return of Exotic weapons and armor. In Destiny 2’s latest expansion Forsaken, this is no different. Forsaken is bringing back some of the old Exotic weapons players loved in the original Destiny expansion House of Wolves. For Destiny 2 players who have missed their four barrel shotgun Lord of Wolves, you can rejoice as it is returning in Forsaken.

The Lord of Wolves has received some tweaks since its entrance in the original Destiny. This shotgun is an energy weapon in Destiny 2, it fires a short burst of powerful solar damage. In addition to that, killing an enemy will double the number of projectiles you can fire per burst for a short period of time, which means that you can deal massive amounts of damage with this weapon as you continue to rack up kills.

Running around with the Lord of Wolves feels right in an expansion centered around the Awoken. After all, it was a reward from the Prison of Elders so it only seems fitting to use it to help contain the outbreak of Barons.

Just like most of the other Exotic gear in Destiny 2, the Lord of Wolves shotgun can be acquired in a variety of ways. Your best chance of getting it is through Exotic engrams, which can be obtained from completing Heroic Public Events and the Nightfall. There’s also a chance of Xur selling it during his weekly visits, so if you have enough Legendary Shards, you can buy it from him as well. Our preferred way of farming Exotic engrams is through Public Events, though, so make sure to trigger the Heroic version whenever you can for a better shot at it.
