How to Get Charges of Light for Blind Well in Destiny 2 Forsaken
Forsaken is the brand new story expansion for Destiny 2, and it’ll take Guardians on yet another epic adventure across the universe. This time around, our beloved Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6 will finally run out of luck and be taken down, and it’s up to the players to avenge him and rid the world of evil yet again. New in the Forsaken expansion is the introduction of the Blind Well event, which is a public activity that’s sort of similar to what we got in previous expansions like Court of Oryx, Archon’s Forge, and the most recently but flawed Escalation Protocol. Also similar to those events, you’ll need to spend a specific resource to activate the event. In this case, you’ll need Charges of Light in order to activate Blind Well.
At the moment, it looks like the best way to obtain Charges of Light in Destiny 2 is by buying them from Petra. She’ll be able to sell them to you in exchange for a new form of currency called Dark Fragments, which is obtained by completing events around The Dreaming City. Once you have enough Dark Fragments, go ahead and buy them from Petra, and you’ll be able to activate the Blind Well event on your own, or with other Guardians that may be in the area.
This is a good way to boost your Power level if needed, and there’s always the chance that you could find some valuable gear to round out your collection. We definitely recommend doing this in a fireteam if possible, and feel free to team up with other Guardians in the area as well. It’s a tough event even on the first tier.
