It’s that time of year again folks: Madden 19’s release is on the horizon, and it’s an entry fans new and old won’t want to miss out on. Offering refinements in its gameplay for both single and multiplayer, an updated roster of players and the added benefit of coming to PC for the first time in over a decade, EA’s latest entry in the storied sports game series is one of the better to grace fans in some time. It doesn’t hurt that the community around the game has only grown stronger over the years, and looks to have plenty to sink its teeth into with this year’s iteration.

As such, some may be wondering how much Madden 19 will cost at launch and which retailers may be offering the best deals to get in on the action with. As it turns out, there are a few options available to pick up a copy of Madden 19.

For those looking to play Madden 19 on PlayStation 4, PC or Xbox One, there are two versions of the game up for grabs from most any retailer: The regular version, priced at $59.99 and packaged with all of the game’s base content, and the Hall of Fame edition, which runs for $79.99 at most retailers and includes digitally downloaded bonuses such as the buyer’s choice of a hall of fame player, an elite player from their favorite NFL team and several other bonuses. These prices apply to both the retail and digital versions of Madden 19.

Select retailers are also offering special deals and upgrades to those who buy Madden 19 through them. GameStop has a Legends upgrade which can be applied to any Hall of Fame edition preorders, and includes the Legends Upgrade Pack and two packs of 2,200 Madden Ultimate Team points at an increased cost of $129.99. Meanwhile, Amazon and Best Buy are offering a discounted price of $47.99 on the regular version of the game for those who are part of the retailers’ Prime and GCU services respectively. New Egg is also offering a discount on both versions of the game, with the regular version available for $49.99 at preorder and the Hall of Fame edition available at $69.99.

Madden 19 is set to release on Aug. 10 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
