How to Get Nanite Clusters Easily in No Man’s Sky

Recommended Videos

No Man’s Sky is all about exploring planets and collecting resources on your intergalactic journey. There are tons of materials to find, each with their own different uses in the game. One particular type of resource you will come across in No Man’s Sky is the Nanite Cluster, which can be exchanged for blueprints at space stations. While Nanite Clusters are typically considered as the secondary currency in the game, it wouldn’t hurt to have some sitting in your pocket. If you’re having trouble farming the resources, here is how to get Nanite Clusters easily.

Possibly one of the best ways to farm for Nanite Clusters has to be grinding Sentinels. These flying drones often drop Nanite Clusters in No Man’s Sky when they are defeated, and you should have a good amount of materials after destroying quite a few of them. On top of that, you can usually find Sentinels on every planet since they basically act as patrols, but you might want to be careful because they will increase your wanted levels; and when it gets too high, you might come across stronger Sentinels that can rip you to shreds in No Man’s Sky.

If you aren’t too confident in your combat skills, another way to look for Nanite Clusters is by taking on missions from different space stations, as you might come across different quests that offer Nanites as rewards. Otherwise, you can also try your hand at Korvax trading posts and barter for more of the materials you need. Generally, you should have around 40-90 Nanite Clusters per person in a trading post, and the traders will even point you to a new post that should have more Clusters in No Man’s Sky. They can also be obtained from boxes you find in random living quarters across planetary surfaces.

That’s basically the gist of farming Nanite Clusters in the game. Check out Twinfinite for more tips and tricks on No Man’s Sky.
