Are There Cheats in No Man’s Sky? What You Need to Know

Cheats in a game like No Man’s Sky seems like it would be natural. After all, No Man’s Sky offers players the ability to dive in one of the biggest, most ambitious, and grandiose sandboxes ever. Literally the universe is at play here in No Man’s Sky. For a while, there wasn’t much to do in this universe, which to be fair is probably quite accurate but it doesn’t make for a great video game. Luckily, over time, Hello Games has continued to add content into the game to not only make it a more compelling and enjoyable video game, but to fulfil the promises that were made prior to the game’s launch.

Before No Man’s Sky came out, there were a lot of features that were promised but were not included with the game at release. This led to a huge backlash from both critical circles, and the PS4 community. The backlash was so intense and toxic, that it even resulted in some death threats towards members of the community. Fortunately, this has subsided at least enough the point where Hello Games can focus on trying to improve and the game the best they can. The upcoming NEXT update finally adds a long awaited (true) multiplayer feature, along with new underwater and underground bases building.

If you’re here, you’re probably wondering whether or not there are cheats in No Man’s Sky. There’s so much freedom in this game, maybe cheats are also freely allowed too? Sadly, if you’re a fan of cheats, that is not the case. There are no known official cheats in No Man’s Sky. There might be glitches that you can exploit to your benefit, but that’s something that is going to vary greatly depending on Hello Game’s ability/desire to fix issues that arise.
