How to Exit The Crew 2

Recommended Videos

The world of The Crew 2 can keep you occupied for hours on end with an eclectic range of challenges and races to take on in all manner of vehicles. From monster trucks, to touring cars, all the way through to aerobatic planes. Of course, sometimes you’re going to need to take a break and exit The Crew 2. And this is where the problem is beginning for some players.

There doesn’t appear to be any way to exit the game once you’ve signed into a server and are driving around in the world within the game itself. Instead, to exit The Crew 2, you must press the Home button on your Xbox One or PS4 controller, press the Options / Menu button, and then close the application as you would any other. This appears to be the only way to exit out of the game at the moment, but if anything changes via a patch we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

It’s also worth noting that you don’t need to save your game manually when doing this. The Crew 2 has an auto-save feature that we’ve detailed here.

That’s all you need to know to back out of the game so you can safely turn your console off… or just play something else. For more on The Crew 2, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
