13 Reasons Why is the gripping teenage drama that tackles issues like suicide, sexual assault and mental health. So far, it has captured critical and public acclaim, drawing healthy viewership numbers and garnering praise for its acting and storyline. It follows the tale of Hannah Baker, a high school student who takes her life after a series of demoralizing events. In the first season, a box of cassette tapes began to tell the story about how things got to such a dreadful crescendo, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

As we learn more of the details surrounding Hannah’s tragic death, season 2 appears to be ramping up the stakes, with a collection of mysterious polaroids lending a series of clues. The meaning behind them isn’t yet clear, but one thing is for sure – tensions are going to reach a boiling point. The angst is real, the angst is plentiful, the angst is compelling, and we won’t be able to turn away!

If you’re keen on catching the action, you will be able to watch season 2 of 13 Reasons Why exclusively on Netflix from May 18 onward. As it is a Netflix Original Series, it will not be making its way to rival streaming services.
