How to Get Food, Materials, Medicine, Ammo in State of Decay 2

Recommended Videos

State of Decay 2 is a multiplayer survival game that has players scouring the vast open world looking for all sorts of materials. They’ll be needing plenty of supplies to fend off the ravenous zombies and build their own stronghold. By finding resources, you can fortify your base and outputs, which will help you gather more survivors. If you want your community to survive, here’s how you can get food, materials, medicine, and ammo.

Firstly, you’ll want to check your map for locations that have loot. You can find the information on the top right corner of the map when you highlight it. You’ll come across different icons that represent a certain resource:

  • Food is a pizza slice
  • Materials are gold bars
  • Medicine is the plus symbol (+)
  • Ammo is bullets
  • Fuel is gas canisters

Aside from scavenging materials, you can even trade certain resources with NPCs. Food, on the other hand, can also be grown locally at the base. Since part of your main goal is to propagate your community, you’ll be doing plenty of resource hunting in the game.
