State of Decay 2: How to Crouch & Move Quietly (Stealth)

How to Crouch & Move Quietly Using Stealth in State of Decay 2

Recommended Videos

State of Decay 2 has a ton of zombies. Sometimes, you’re not going to want to run and gun through the world. Well, maybe rarely. Rarely you’ll not want to. But for those rare moments where stealth will be the best course of action, you’re going to need to know how to crouch so that you can move quietly. Here’s how.

In order to crouch and move quietly to become a stealth master like Solid Snake in State of Decay 2, you need to hold B down until you see your character crouch. Don’t just tap it or else they’ll do an awkward dodge out of nowhere. This will allow you to walk quietly up to any zombie’s back and perform an RT and X takedown on them. This is very useful when dealing with screamers, heads-up!

Don’t approach head-on, obviously, or they’ll see you. If you want to be quiet but can’t crouch your way in, avoid using guns. These will only lead to more zombies approaching you, as the shots are really loud.

Hope that helps! If you need any other information on State of Decay 2, be sure to check out our wiki.
